WORLD'S FIRST SUPER-FAST CHARGING BATTERY DELIVERS 400 KM FROM 10 MINUTES CHARGE

Image
The world's largest battery maker has launched what it claims is the first 'super-fast charging' battery capable of delivering 400 kilometers (249 miles) of range on a single charge in just 10 minutes. China Amperex Contemporary Technology Ltd (CATL) says its new lithium-ion battery will usher in a new era for electric cars and eliminate owners' anxiety.  When fully charged, the battery is charged enough to travel more than 700 km without recharging, about 60% higher than an average electric vehicle in 2023.   CATL says the increase in battery capacity and charging time is achieved by an "all-new superconducting electrolyte formulation" that improves conductivity. “The future of EV battery technology must be firmly held at the global technological frontier, along with economic benefits,” said Dr. Wu Kai, Chief Scientist at CATL.   As electric vehicle consumers move from pioneer to mainstream, we need to make innovative technology accessible to everyone and all

BUNDESLIGA: HARRY KANE'S FIRST VICTORY MATCH IN BAYERN MUNICH

England captain Harry Kane scored on his Bundesliga debut as champions Bayern Munich secured a resounding win over Werder Bremen.  Kane hit a low right-footed shot past goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka from 15 yards to double the lead for Bayern. Before that, he scored the first of Leroy Sane's two goals with a clever cut in the 4th minute. Mathys Tel had an easy victory for Thomas Tuchel's army at the end of the match. Kane told broadcaster DAZN after the game: "I'm a little nervous [and] excited to play the game. "We started well with the goal in the first few minutes. Of course there was anxiety, but as always, when I step on the pitch, instinct prevails." It was a great night for Bayern and club record holder Kane, who traveled to Bavaria to flaunt a lot but got off to a disappointing start with a 3-0 loss to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup. Considered the last person to fill the void left by Robert Lewandowski more than a year after the Polish striker played

(photo credits: The mirror) The striker entered the game as a 64th-minute replacement to a loud ovation at the Allianz Arena just hours after concluding his £86 million transfer from Tottenham on Saturday. He made a few impressions, but not many. For Leipzig, Dani Olmo scored a hat-trick to prevent Harry Kane, 30, from winning his first professional trophy. After a cross was not cleared, Olmo scored his first goal into the bottom corner. He spun Matthijs de Ligt with his second strike before slipping it through Sven Ulreich's legs. After Kane's entry, the Spain attacker scored a penalty to complete his hat trick. Once he gets to know his new team in Germany, Kane will experience better days. Given that he had only joined Bayern on the day in question, it came as a minor surprise that he was involved. In his professional career, he has scored 354 goals and holds the scoring records for Tottenham (280) and England (58). In light of the fact that Leipzig lost three of their top pl

(Jantakareporter) Recently, a court in India sentenced 10 men to a decade each in prison for lynching a Muslim man, who was tortured to death after being forced to chant Hindu religious slogans four years ago. The young man by name Tabrez Ansari, 24 years, was tied to an electricity pole and tortured in an interval of 12 hours by a mob in June 2019 after being accused of breaking into a house and stealing a motorbike in the eastern state of Jharkhand. Videos from the assault showed Ansari being forced to chant 'Jai Shri Ram' (hail Lord Ram) and ‘Jai Hanuman’ (hail Hanuman) – religious slogans appropriated by Hindu hardliners – while he pleaded for his life.
