England captain Harry Kane scored on his Bundesliga debut as champions Bayern Munich secured a resounding win over Werder Bremen.  Kane hit a low right-footed shot past goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka from 15 yards to double the lead for Bayern. Before that, he scored the first of Leroy Sane's two goals with a clever cut in the 4th minute. Mathys Tel had an easy victory for Thomas Tuchel's army at the end of the match. Kane told broadcaster DAZN after the game: "I'm a little nervous [and] excited to play the game. "We started well with the goal in the first few minutes. Of course there was anxiety, but as always, when I step on the pitch, instinct prevails." It was a great night for Bayern and club record holder Kane, who traveled to Bavaria to flaunt a lot but got off to a disappointing start with a 3-0 loss to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup.  Arsenal have agreed a deal worth £105m to sign West Ham's England midfielder Declan Rice. Talks are continuing between the clubs over how the deal will be structured for the 24-year-old. It follows a third bid from the Gunners, having previously had two bids rejected after falling short of the £100m West Ham want. The 25-year-old pro-footballer also visited his primary school Olusosun Primary School, Ikeja to watch the final of the eponymous Osimhen Cup. “Returning to where my football dream and journey began in Olusosun gives me so much goosebumps. I am humbled and grateful for the roots that shaped my dreams. This is me once again appreciating their love and support and I will always cherish Olusosun and its people.
