FIRST LADY ENCOURAGES NIGERIANS AHEAD OF FUTURE PLANS

The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, assured the people of Nigeria that her office's New Hope Initiative will bring relief to families across the country when it is fully implemented. .



Ms Tinubu, who is also the National Chair of the initiative, said this after the second board meeting of the initiative held at her office in Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.



According to a statement by media assistant Busola Kukoyi, the first lady ensured that all measures were taken to ensure a smooth start to the project in the 36 federal states and the FCT.



Senator Tinubu explained that various state and local governments will be involved because the project is global for the federation. She pointed out that the core areas of the project include agriculture, health, education, social investment and economic empowerment.



To this end, she said that there will be a meeting with the wives of all state governors on Friday, July 14 during which details on the successful implementation of the project will be made available. public.




In her statement after the closed-door meeting, the wife of the initiative's vice president and national vice president, Hajiya Nana Shettima, expressed the board's enthusiasm for the project. , says Nigerians are going to see better times. to complement the federal government's efforts.



Similarly, the initiative's national secretary, Chioma Uzodinma, said the initiative will be based on the collaborative efforts of all sectors to improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

A woman from Tennessee has been charged with a number of disturbing offenses, including downloading child pornography and recording her dog engaging in sexual acts with her. SHUT DOWN ENSUES: NLC BEGINS PROTEST

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has announced that its planned nationwide protest slated for August 2 (today) would commence at 7:30 am across the federation’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). News reports that the planned protest expresses the labour union’s displeasure over what it described as the unfavorable policies of the President Bola Tinubu-led government, especially the removal of fuel subsidy.
